标题: 请问mutual fund转到vc或pe可能吗？

今年起到一家mutual fund做equity research,想知道这种情况以后转到vc或pe希望大吗？

如果是美国的话，那转起来不是一般的困难。。

MUTUAL FUND的经验好像跟VC没啥关系，PE不好说。

it is unusual to move from public investing to private.

but many hedge funds are now crossing the line and involving themselves in private investment, especially in emerging market. in this sense, it is of course plausible to move to PE with public market experience. at the end of the day, it depends on the quality of your experience and how well respected your firm is in the industry.

同LZ问题

请问ls 我认为HF和MF基本是相通的主要是投资形式一致当然仅限于A股 HF有很多工具MF是没有用过的但是这部分工具如果不是业内人士也不会有人用过我觉得MF跳的话怎么也比工程师强 ^_^

关于PE,VC 最近我也很疑惑觉得做MF的前景到底是怎么样的尤其是作为industry analyst而言似乎PM是唯一的出路了不知道大家有什么见解？谢谢

看起来好像真的只有pm这条路比较可行了~

作mf的是不是选择面真的很窄呀？还有什么出路呢？
