这道逻辑题大家看看,怎么也看不出正确答案来呀.感觉全不对啊.NN 帮助看看!

In Patton City, days are categorized as having heavy rainfall (more than two inches), moderate rainfall (more than one inch, but no more than two inches), light rainfall (at least a trace, but no more than one inch), or no rainfall. In 1990, there were fewer days with light rainfall than in 1910 and fewer with moderate rainfall, yet total rainfall for the year was 20 percent higher in 1990 than in 1910.

If the statements above are true, then it is also possible that in Patton
City

the number of days with heavy rainfall was lower in 1990 than in 1910
the number of days with some rainfall, but no more than two inches, was the same in 1990 as in 1910
the number of days with some rainfall, but no more than two inches, was higher in 1990 than in 1910
the total number of inches of rain that fell on days with moderate rainfall in 1990 was more than twice what it had been in 1910
the average amount of rainfall per month was lower in 1990 than in 1910

I think it should be D

if A is right,then it can not be "total rainfall for the year was 20 percent higher in 1990 than in 1910".

这个题目选A

例如, 1910年有10天 Heavy, 每天是3 inches, 1990有5天 Heavy, 每天是30 inches..问题解决了, 虽然天数少, 但是降水多

D选项不对, M定义为 1<M<2, 如1910年都比 1 inches多一点点, 哪怕无限接近1,

1990是1910的两倍, 降水量超过2inches了, 那就是H, 不是M了...所以D选择是错的

我当时做这题，开始也晕菜了，后来发现只有A说道heavy rainfall，虽然不同意A的说法，但还是选了，心里总觉得别扭。

看到LS的解释豁然开朗啊～

没看明白！既然H\M\L的天数都少了，还怎么20 precent higher啊？题目又没有说每天降雨量多。

是不是这样理解：

In 1990, there were fewer days with light rainfall than in 1910 and fewer with moderate rainfall, yet total rainfall for the year was 20 percent higher in 1990 than in 1910.

题干已经蕴含了矛盾：1990的day少，但是total rainfall 20% higher，也就是或题目隐含了1990每天降雨量多。也就是说题目告诉你1990比1910per day降雨量多，求下面可能的选项：

A. the number of days with heavy rainfall was lower in 1990 than in 1910

因为per day降雨量多了，所以有可能h days也少了。

请问是这样理解么？

这道题的玄妙之处在问题，问的是可能性，BCDE根据题目条件推导都不对，只有A答案有这种可能，一道陷阱题~~~~

问的是原文皆真的情况下，下列哪种情况是可能的，显然A

EXACTLY 后面的同学就看这个解释确实很阴考试时候电光火石很容易错
