这题目，我想了很久，后来我选了B：

原因如下：

我认为是同位语从句解释前面一句话：

B的表达重点与E不同，但是，在知道正确选项之前我们不知道句子更要怎么表达它的意思，所以，我认为如果你把B理解成名词概括型同位从句，是可以的；

问题出在when上，when在B中引导一个非限定，使句子的意思不合乎常理了，我们不能说,

...point，when combined with talent，使得...

B错在了这里；

A: combining用被动比较好
B: when combined状语从句应该在that以内，否则没有修饰对象
C: combined用被动，it没有指代对象
D: and后面句子不完整
E: correct

注意：
1、同位语从句如果想表达复杂的意思，用并列句更完整一些
2、 Combine等一些动词更适合用被动表达

这里的 to make 是不是有做定语修饰 talent 的歧义？

正确选项E ,A 后面的 to make 表示将来，错，原句并没有这层意思，再说了，to 表示将来在gmat中是错的，应该用will
C 中的it 有指代歧义，而且相比其他选项，这个选项中的it比较碍眼，一看就知道不是正确选项
D中的and this vantage point 缺谓语，而且 which 引导的定语从句中的 to make 同A中的 to make 表示将来也是不对的
再来说说B，when combined with her talent for writing用的不好，从逻辑意思来看，就成了，这个优势有时和talent for writing结合，有时不结合，但只有在combined with her talent for writing ,才能使她成为one of the most valuable historians

E吧
A 是典型的动词加不定式，表示目的，翻译出来应该是vantage point 与talents结合为了使她成为最her one of the most valuable historians of the ear
B选项应该是犯了OG-12-Q12的错误，首先when combined with her talent,应该放在that句子当中，要知道that 是可以跨越同位语进行修饰的，所以“when”放在中间就明显不被that修饰了，而且根据OG12-Q12 的原则，不能用when，when是只同时，不表示条件，这应该用条件if

从逻辑的层面讲，看时态，because she knew,….MOW was….所以后面的应该是made更合理些。
