As far as I knew, Stern changed the policy around 1999-2000 - from then on, no part-time student could attend the on-campus interview. The main reasons is, according to the school, the pressure from the part-time sporsor companies - they don't want to pay your education and then, let you go.

one thing for sure. For Stern, I will only apply for their FT program.作者: wannafly 时间: 2003-5-3 22:53

Then how about your current enviable job? Is it worth quiting such a job for a full time MBA, as you have ask such questions to other people?作者: funnytiger 时间: 2003-5-4 10:32
to be honest with you, my salary is better than most people from top MBA school. But on the other hand, I am working on a technical job that is hard to find replacement. my IBM boss (not the current job) keeps asking me to go back. So even the MBA thing does not work out. I can just take my old job.
I hope you don't feel that I am showing off. and I do understand things change fast these days. but MBA is my dream, and I still want to go back to China if I have chance.作者: tonyzhao 时间: 2003-5-13 00:50
Hi FRD i am in new york and plan to nyu part time . i am work hard for prepare now do you know the gmat lev of the part time mba many tks作者: funnytiger 时间: 2003-5-13 01:34
check the BW profile, NYU part-time's GMAT average is low(above 600, but below 650), and you can get in either in spring or fall. Without on-campus interview, the part-time MBA lost about half of its value.
Now I understand why the employees at our NYC department want to transfer to San Francisco to get into Berkeley part-time program
