请问if 后的内容不是可以省略么：Ｉｆ( skills are ) recognized and applied,students will.....

一般if後面的subject不能省, 除非if的subject就在if的前面:
e.g. The research, if successful, will be the biggest finding in this century.
有NN可以指出比較sure的rule嗎?

如果要省if的subject(主語), 它的subject必須要跟它的主句的subject一樣...
sigh...太久沒做sc =(

if不能省略（skills are)，就算可以省略用被动语态不好。

如果不能省略，那么前面的逻辑主语就是thinking skills，他们是不能自己recognized and applied，只能是student做他们的主语，因而有了E

我把楼上几位的汇总一下，大意是
D. that if recognized and applied, students一般if後面的subject不能省如果要省if的subject(主語), 它的subject必須要跟它的主句的subject一樣...但是instruction不能做recognized and applied的逻辑主语

找最近的，skills不能用they来指代吧，只有学生了，无歧义。

前后平行，逻辑表述。
A跟D，逻辑不对好像是students 被recognize和apply
B awkward，IF作为了插入语，不对，因为if 也是assumption的主要部分
C them指代歧义，that位置不对
