答案A
arrowweed 沒有查到是什麼字。應該是"arrowwood"一種竹子吧！
我覺得E也挺好。除了囉唆，看不出怎錯。大家覺得呢？

"supported by....."是修饰 roof 的。E中“that are..." 会造成歧义，让人觉得它修饰arrowweed.

看來A是最好的答案，本以為有run-on的嫌疑，但用is supported改成supported變沒事
each a 的用法真少見。大概是井底之狗，少見多怪了。
在GMAT閱讀有一each a例句：
The gas apparently condenses into a collection of small stars, each a little larger than the planet Jupiter.

首先个人感觉和经验看，凡是碰到这样的选项，先考虑带each的。
另外单从意思上讲，each a roof是原句中的，用with roofs代替的话，意思有可能改变了，
each a roof 我理解在这里是独立主格，实际上是shades，each (has) a roof of poles, 意思是每个shade有一个用几个杆子支撑起来的roof和用做成长方形的柱子支撑的arrowweed
如果用with roofs的话，就农不清一个shade有几个roof了，有可能是一个，有可能是多个roofs。

supported 到底是用来修饰arrowweed 还是dewellings?
不过我个人认为是修饰dwellings,因为从字面上看.arrowweed可能是一种植物,可能是一种长得像箭一样的草. 用来盖dewelling的一种材料吧.既然是草,应该不能用supported来修饰了...
不知道对不对,有没有NN来指正一下啊??

对于(D) with roofs of poles and arrowweed to be，在网上看到一种说法是"with + 名词 + 不定式,这种结构表动作的将来式"，如果是这样的话，显然D不对

arrowweed 是一种植物，长得像箭一样。
A， 我一开始以为是同位语，如果是同位语就说明shades就是a roof and arrowweed,显然这是翻译不通的。其实这是一个独立主格结构
n. +done.
B 中的that are being ，redundant
C 中的being ，redundant. 而且being+n./a.d.j.结构绝对错
D中的to be 表将来，也不符合句意
E中的that are ,redundant.另外DE with roofs会产生歧义，不知道一个shade有只有一个roof还是有很多个roofs.
所以综上所述，只有A表达最简洁最清晰。

还是不懂怎么排除E

今早坐地铁，看到这道题，起初呢，在D、E中徘徊。后来觉得E罗嗦，选了D。
现在琢磨，觉得我是在语法中纠结，而忽视了句意。
现尝试翻译一下：为了防止被太阳晒到，MOJAVE住在一个周围空空，房顶平平的小屋（类似于亭子）。这个小屋被认为是（或翻译成闻名于）遮挡物、每一根柱子的根和箭竹（貌似一种植物，姑且这么翻译吧）被边角的桩子所支撑。
现在明白了吗？shades（名词，作遮挡物解释）、each a roof of poles、arrowweed三者并列，此三者必须同属名词性。
假如用with，那么with是修饰谁呢？shades还是dwelling？容易引起歧义，此其一；其二，shades是否被supported，不明确，容易被理解成“dwelling known as shades.”似乎句意不完整。
另外，虽然as可既可做介词也可做连接副词，但此处as shades直接跟随逗号，可见as作介词，更坚定了后续三者为并列名词的信心。
看到强大的chase dream居然在2004年就有此题，感到于我心有戚戚焉。头一次发帖，自持CD：）
