标题: 请教一道语法题
以 including开头的现在分词短语能不能放在句子后面修饰前面的一句话：For example:

The number of dogs weighted above 20 pounds will grow from 10000 in 2001 to 30000 in 2005, including those weighted above 30 pounds increasing from 5000 in 2001 to 10000 in 2005.

这里的including对不对，还是改用with更好？多谢！

这里的including是对的，including有“包含”的意思，意思比with更加明确。
the number of dogs weighted above 20 pounds will grow from 10000 in 2001 to 30000 in 2005, including those weighted above 30 pounds increasing from 5000 in 2001 to 10000 in 2005.

=The number of dogs including those weighted above 30 pounds increasing from 5000 in 2001 to 10000 in 2005 and weighted above 20 pounds will grow from 10000 in 2001 to 30000 in 2005.
这个句子的定语显然太长，所以把including的位置改变使得原文更加清晰。

我对-ing的理解是 1）为伴随结果，如果逻辑关系合理的话
2）伴随动作，逻辑主语=句子主语

因为我原来以为including是在这里表示伴随结果

including就是定语后置

1stzhang,多谢你的解答。但是我还是觉得有疑问。如果象你说的，以including开头的短语是定语后置，我觉得这个定语好像是多余的。因为dogs weighted above 20 pounds 本来就包含了dogs weighted above 30 pounds。

本来我觉得以including开头的短语是整个句子的伴随状语。但是仔细一想不对，一般伴随状语应该是结果。即主句的动作应该是导致了伴随状语的. 但是这个句子中好像不是这种导致关系,用的是including这个单词,表示包括关系. 不知道我这样归纳对不对?

我查了一下书，纠正一下我的说法：including这种介词引导的介词短语是用于做状语，用于解释。类似的还有：considering, given......
