請問不選(c)而選(d)是因為(d)中的 by no means certain 較there is no certainty 簡潔且好嗎？

我想是因为"it is certain that..."这种用法, 而不应该是"there is no certainty that...", 前者是that 从句做主语, it是形式主语的用法, 而后者, ??? that 不可能用there做形式主语, that从句这里恐怕只能说是certainty的定语或同位语吧, 可是都不符合题意!.

个人意见：C中两个地方很不爽：

1。there is no certainty that 这个that从句就变成修饰certainty了，it is by no means certain that 中that从句是主语

2。the expenditure of money in large sums 怎么看都不如the expenditure of large sums of money 爽
