看了OG答案后地球人都知道A选项正确，但对于这样的题从第一感觉来说从平行对应的角度来说肯定选C，除了读题时注意ago等时间词，仔细分析谓语发生的时间外还有其它好的方法么？因为毕竟这太耗时间，考试时的时间是相当相当的宝贵的啊

后半句用的是分词的平行结构...spawned by....与...extending...平行。

...spawned by...为被动语态， extending...为主动语态

遇见-ed要分清到底是谓语还是定语，如果是谓语的话并列的就一定是动词，如果是定语的话就要注意可能会与-ing分词并列

-ed和-ing 的分词结构在平行结构里能够对称，记住也个应该就可以了，其他的话基本上还是可以直接判断的。

但是在这里，主语是那个阿？OG 说是fungus 但是extending 和 spawned 平行, spawned 是修饰 tentacles, 那么extending也是修饰 tentacles 的马？
还是我理解错了
