I choose C, but the answer is A. Is the answer wrong?

原来是道争议题，我还是认为C对。A好像是logical prediction问题。

I think "not(only), but (also) 是并列连词词组, although 侧重点放在“but also”上，但其意思基本等于“both … and …”.

"instead of" 是"取代代替”的意思（前者取代后者).

Dear zuimong, Not... But...(不是...而是) 跟Not only... but also...(不仅...而且...)可是两码事哦!

我认为词句gemj原先的看法是对的. C语言被产生和理解的过程, 这个意思没什么问题. 而A中procedure that produce and make it understood...不对.produce it understood怎么会对.

我认为还是应该A把, 我比较同意小安的观点啊

make it understandable 和 by which it is produced and understood 意思上还是有比较大的区别的, 我觉得
