标题: 請指教下
236.Degler does more than merely summarizing existing research; he constructs a coherent picture of two centuries of studies dealing with the changing roles of women.
(A) Degler does more than merely summarizing
(B) Degler’s study is more than a mere summarizing of
(C) Degler has done more than a mere summarizing of
(D) Degler’s study has done more than summarize merely
(E) Degler does more than merely summarize

我在(a)與(e)間拿不定主意.我想由於more than的關係.所以動詞應該要做變化.因此我選了(a).但是(e)是對的????

1, don't forget ETS' favorite principle: Parallelism.
2, a verb is superior to a noun, which is preferable to a gerund.
3, 'summarize' has noun form, which is 'summarization'.  try not to use 'summarizing'
