标题: 想从政，读Phd帮助有多大？犹豫中！
各位大牛和经验丰富的前辈，申请硕士以前也是经常来CD里淘宝，现在转眼间硕士明年也毕业了，这段时间心里很是矛盾，是读博还是工作呢？硕士在读学校在东亚地区还是比较顶尖的，但是似乎竞争力不强，怕找不到合适的工作。我个人还是喜欢进业界，不过也是为以后转入政界打下必要的基础和资本，当然也想读个博，最好能进政府部门相关的政策研究所，但是最终目标也是想有机会就往政界发展。以后似乎学者型的官员也是一个必然趋势，读博也是给自己增加竞争力吧！我对港大的Business Strategy and Government Policy比较感兴趣，觉得商界政界都有涉及到，更把稳点。希望各位阅历丰富的前辈给点建议，正在准备GMAT中，从各位前辈那里能获得更多的建议和动力。

先做官官做大了自然有学位

虽然体制还有很多问题，但是以后还是会慢慢变好的。现在没有资本，不可能去做官了！读博也就是想办法积累资本了！

如果从政，其他的如学位最好作为副产品对待吧

if you wanna get involved in the politics, strategy, acct, hr, ob, mis, operations, marketing might mean nothing. go for finance or busienss economics!

perhaps the most effective way to get promoted is to grab a doctoral degree and spend some years in NDRC which has the real power and budget to execute whatever it proposes to do. look at the people there, i would say a disproportionate large group of those high profiles hold a doc in finance or ecnomics, especially the economics.

thank you so much,Kevin.yes, you got it, that's what I wanna do, however, I'm really bad in the math,I don't think I can do the economics stuff, but interested in and preferring business or political-business related stuff.
