标题: Michigan Ross or NYU Stern?

Hello everyone,

Got offers from Ross and Stern. Ross's reputation seems to be higher in general but Stern is strong in finance. Any suggestions of choosing which school? Thanks a lot~~

depends on your career path.

if it is finance, and particularly wall street, go for NYU.

if you like NYC, go for NYU.

otherwise, go for ROSS.

Ross is also very strong in Finance and has a lot of alumni in top banks.

I would say it depends on what kind of life you want to live during the 2 years

100% Stern! although both are great schools, Stern will provide you with better job opportunities. Congrats!

Would suggest you talk with current students and alumni. Ross has a bigger and supportive alumni network both in China and world wide.

Finance当然选NYU! NYU在东部这边的名声还不错,地理位置根本用说了.

Michigan在中西部,不是做金融的地方.如果毕业后你想到东部的金融机构就业,一些公司可能不怎么买Ross的帐.

I have a question. Is ROSS a old-applicant friendly school? I will be 26.5 with 2.5 years WE when I apply later this year.

Definitely Stern. It is a better program, location and reputation over Ross.

100% Stern!!

I have been to Michigan Ann Arbor. It is beautiful place and a great college town. Several years ago, it is ranked the best dating place in the U.S., but honestly, Ross MBA isn't as strong as it's undergard program, based on what I heard from my friends graduated from Ross.

If i were u, i would go to NYU.

If you want to do IB - NYU. there's no doubt about it. I heard NYU's IB placement is evern better than some other higher-ranked finance schools. But in current sitiuation do you really want to do IB?

If you do not want to do IB - ROSS, its a general management school, you will get more well-rounded education.
