feel the same way too...

ppl got top10 - 20 offers, are wl by top 10 programs

ppl got top 20 - 30 offers, are wl by top 10 - 20 programs

ppl got top 30 - 40 offers, are wl by top 20 -30 programs

and this goes on and on and on and on...

But this is the way the game plays...although I don't think it is efficient and, from an econ perspective, we got some

social welfare loss...

I totally agree, those who got waitlisted are waitlisted by those waitlisted by big cows,

Kenneth Arrow once said: the equilibrium requires a disequilibrium process.

ps: those who got top5-10 will still be waitlisted by the top1-5, terrible.
