标题: 一般teaching college教书的Marketing asst prof薪水大概多少

拿到了marketing的一个小offer,但是这个学校placement一般都是去没有marketing PhD program的学校教书，不知道薪水如何

另外，有机会去业界么。个人倾向于教书，不过一直找不到marketing fresh PhD去业界的情况

个人背景：

大陆econ本科

美国econ博士第二年转到marketing

econ博士项目表现一般，因为申的学校排名都比较低，所以GPA和科研不那么出众也有幸被录取了

我所了解的三个marketing的例子（都是中国人）是：

1. national university--- fourth tier (teaching oriented), Mid-west, ranking below 200

Assistant Prof.(fresh PhD graduate) 98K/9 months； Instructor，62（or 63, i am not sure on this, but definitely 6*）K/yr if teaching 3 undergrad courses per semester; 5K more for one more course up to 4 courses/semester or 11 courses/yr

2. university-master's (teaching school), South

Assistant Prof. (fresh PhD graduate) 122K/yr with work load of 2 courses during the summer and 3 in spring/fall, 6K more for one more course in summer up to 3

3. university-master's (teaching school), mid-west

Assistant Prof. (fresh PhD graduate) 95K/9 months, no further info

Their teaching load is not too bad actually....

no ranking avaiable...... it is a unviersity-master's type.....

谢谢，很有用的信息，看来各校差异不小

他们是大概什么档次学校毕业的，看placement情况估计没有发过top journal（JCR,JMR..）文章吧，别的文章发表的情况大概怎样呢

如果按这个文档的统计，没PhD program的学校一般上不了12万
