B为什么不可以呢？把这个句子的结构看成a giant fungus that is... and extends... 我这个问题是不是有点弱，但是这个题我做了几次了，总是想不明白B的错误原因。谢谢啦。

选A，extending和前面的spawned一起（平行结构在这里）修饰前面的filigree

谢谢楼上。我也知道解释里面都是说“extending和前面的spawned一起（平行结构在这里）修饰前面的filigree”。可是我就是在想为什么不能是fungus extends？刚刚突然想到，是不是因为fungus不能发出extend这个动作，逻辑不对。只有filigree才可以，所以“extending和前面的spawned一起（平行结构在这里）修饰前面的filigree。”
