Being told that they have about 250 applications for their finance program this year. They already denied over 90% and still have about 20 on hold. They already sent out offers to about 10 of them and have 11 people waitlisted. A little disappointed and don't think the chance is great for getting into.

BTW,这样也就是说绝大多数的拒信都已经发出了？恩，Wharton还是蛮厚道的，Offer就说Offer，Rej就说Rej，Waitlist就说Waitlist，清清楚楚，让人没有遗憾。不像某些学校，打模糊牌。早知道就申Wharton了，最差的结果是“死得痛快”，不要被Stern这种慢性摧残到月底。

Totally agree. I hate waiting...especially wait for nothing. Stern is quite slow!
Actually the whole system would be more efficient if all schools can clearly state applicants' status and reject those they are not interested as soon as possible.

Just write an email to the finance phd director and say that other schools have already give you offers, but you put Stern on the top, let them tell you clearly about your status. I'm pretty sure they've done the review.

hahahaha, "thank you for you interest in XXXX"....that looks like rejection letter...
They invited all the admitted people to visit their campus on March 26, so the date for final decision should be like early April. It's really late and will be a torture for those who are on the waiting list.
