So excited!!! I just received the admission offer from my dream school NYU Stern!!!

Background:

GMAT 750, 25, Female, 3 years @ IT, currently in banking industry, locate in LA

NYU, applied on 12/15/07, under view on 12/17/07, requested additional transcript on 1/18, transcript was delivered on 2/11/08, received interview invite on 2/13/08, interviewed on campus on 2/27/08, and received the finally offer exact a week after the interview!!!

According to the status letter online, if the students are being awarded a scholarship or fellowship, that information will be included in the official, mailed admission letter. Cross my figures

Comparing to Wharton, I personally like NYU better... Well, the good thing is that I do not have to make the finally decision until April 15th. So, let's see what happen to Wharton first

I guess I real have to see goodbye to beautiful UCLA then

I missed you by a day...

I interviewed on campus on 2/28, keep my fingers crossed..... hopefully my good news will come soon.

yeah....personally I like Stern better, Philly just feels so run down...and their students/adcom just don't seem as friendly as the ppl I met in Stern.

any one get the interview invitation from NYU in mainland china?

what about your status ? my status is like below

"it is currently being processed and presented to the Admissions Committee for review. Should the Committee require additional information, you will be notified by email."

I locate in the U.S and do not have much information about the applicants who are from Mainland China. However,
according to the school website, admission will send out the initial
notification (invitation to interview, waitlist or ding) by April 1^st. Unlike other schools, Stern admission uses rolling process. Admission
will sent out the invites along the entire review period, and there is
no 3/15 date that all the invites are going to be send out. So, don’t be panic, if you haven’t heard anything back from school yet. The best thing comes to the last J Stay calm & Good Luck!
