标题: Temple有结果了,AD waiting for funding
我申的是policy and strategy。今天收到一个ad letter （by postal service)。说ad和financial assistance的decision是分别做的。如果有finance assistance，信是另外寄的。希望这个ad能变个offer.....

它家的finance Phd怎么样？

AD 2月中旬就收到了，但也是admission和financial assistance分开的，直到现在也没有任何关于financial assistance的消息。

希望可以变成offer……

我发信问了下financial aid的事情，说还在评审当中。希望变成offer.

顺便问下，如果只有AD，没有钱，在没有其他offer的情况下，各位还去不去他家呢？去的话，怎么解决钱的问题呢？

As far as I know, their vacancy for aid is very limited, and the renewal is sometimes not guaranteed.

不是还没有出来financial assistance的decision嘛。

再等等吧，这个AD也许就变offer了。

它家就是不给，也许还有更好的呢，咱还不稀罕它家那个offer了。

If you got AD, better send email to follow up with those department directors. As for Finance department, you can contact Connie Mao, who is the director now. But I am not sure how they decide to give out the offers.
