According to his own account, Frederic-Auguste Bartholdi, the scupltor of the Statue of Liberty, modeled the face of the statue like his mother's and the body like his wife's.

A. modeled the face of the statue like his mother's and the body like his wife's.

B. modeled the face of the statue after that of his mother and body after that of his wife

答案是B，但是我觉得A也是对的啊

A错在哪呢?

比较的平行

因为用的是名词性所有格，所以没有与face平行的成分
