标题: Berkeley says they will give out decision by next Friday

I called the PhD program administration office today. The administrator said we applicants will know the result by next Friday.

She also said all the six committees (for different majors) have contacted some applicants.

But how come no any information here for us?

我前两天发邮件过去问，他们说：

We have made some offers but we are not yet finished. We also have not yet denied anyone. Please be patient, we will notify you of your status by the end of the month.

兄弟，你申请什么方向？

据我所知，Marketing, OBIR, IEOR ,Accounting, 都发据信了，如果没收到就说明还有希望；

我申请的是BPP, 我发邮件过去问，是这样回的：
We haven't heard back from the BPP faculty regarding admissions. We are hoping they will inform us as soon as possible, and we will be able to notify applicants.

通过这封邮件，我不能确认，他们是否发据信了...

perhaps we're just missed out.
the possiblitiy that it's an offer is <0.1%, and i doubt if they'd really give offer to people without interview.
anyways, they said everyone will be notified by 29 Feb... (obviously we're not "everyone")

have you got offer elsewhere?

这个学校不面试，在FAQS上写的很清楚了；

我发邮件问了秘书，她说确实还没收到BPP faculty最后录取的决定，就是29号那天问的。

另外从他给的邮件上看录取审查分三轮，第一轮是审查材料完整性，第二轮干掉一批，还有第三轮；前面收到拒信的应该是第二轮的，我不清楚第三轮是考察offer与waiting list关系，还是会继续拒人；还有，说3月1日开始发offer，这两天是周末，应该是休息，也就是说明天早上如果被录取的应该能够收到offer邮件。

我们不是eveyone，那我们是什么？

我暂时还没有其他的offer.
