标题: 主语从句难道可以省略that?见prep135题,请教各位了

(A) so prevalent that it was said a squirrel could

(B) so prevalent that a squirrel was said that it could

(D) prevalent enough that it was said a squirrel could

(E) prevalent enough for a squirrel to be said to be able to

答案是A,但A里省略了that, pp解释说不选B因为b是被动语态,同时承认a是主语从句但没解释为什么that被省略了

请问这题答案是不是应该纠正成B,或者说什么情况下主语从句可以省略that(ps:白勇语法中主语从句全部都带that)

那是否可以认为prep笔记说A是主语从句的解释就是错误的了

前后又没有逗号，怎们能看成是插入语呢？

还有别的解释吗？

呃，搜主语从句居然来到了以前常来的GMAT区...
此题选A。这里有两个解释，第一个it was said可以看作是一个插入语，你去掉没有任何影响；第二个是it是形式主语，后面的主语从句的确省略了that。关于主语从句的that是否可以省略，句首的主语从句的连词不可省略，后置的主语从句的连词that可以省略。A是一个可以接受的答案，BCDE都有明显的语法错误。

我倒是有不同的看法
我觉得这个是个倒装....
松鼠可以不落地从哪哪哪跳到哪哪哪这个事被说
由于so...that后面的部分的主语太长，为了避免头重脚轻，放在后面了

我觉得不是插入语的理由是如果去掉语义稍微有改变
本来说：树木太茂盛了，以致于有这样一个故事流传。到底事实上是不是这样，有没有到这么一个程度都没有追究。可一去掉，现在变成一定是一个事实了

如果it是形式主语的话，that不能省略吧。。

在哪里看到的，忘记了，不过说say引导的从句可以不加that的？。。
