大全简注里说：C错是因为those的指代有问题，我觉得those就是指代 the male and female啊！为什么不对呢？

刚找到了大全962：

这里逗号前面的it指代ethnicity，和895不是很像吗？

C错是因为those的指代有问题，我觉得those就是指代 the male and female啊！为什么不对呢？

C里面的the male and female应该是形容词，这里的复数名词只能是warblers. 按照这里的平行关系，应该是种类的对称。但是male and femail是不能修饰种类的，种类没有雌雄之说，所以这里的主语是指实际上的warblers, 而不是种类。

另外，我觉得相对于C，E的逻辑含义更明确，表明分辨的是雌雄。

it 时形式主语，真正的主语时不定式to tell....谓语单数没问题

如果those是指代warbles的话,那么这句话就变成了blue-winged warbles和本身进行比较了,这样就违背了语言的逻辑.

因为不能说: Unlike A in B, A is difficult to tell apart....

如果把C改成：Unlike those in most warbler species, the male and female in blue-winged warblers are very difficult to distinguish. 应该可以吧？
