本题有讨论的，但是没有我想知道的这个问题，不是问答案正确与否，是有关于it和its指代的疑问：

1，its到底是指代单数还是复数，如题A答案，是指代the restaurant company 还是指代many new restaurants ，

2，不管指代哪个，代入代词后是the restaurant company sales或many new restaurants sales，

个人感觉应该是the restaurant company ’s sales或many new restaurants’ sales才是正确的啊

这样its sales是不是就表达不准确了呢

3，its如果指代单数，为什么不用it，如果后面加sales，为什么不是it’s sales啊。

4，同理，its指代复数的话，加sales，应该是its’ sales吧。

请明白人指导，万分感激！

it指代的是the restaurant company,its的意思就是the restaurant company's.

its和it’s有何区别？

如果要指代复数，用its吗？

没有its’，its是单数名词的所有格，it's是it is的缩写。
复数名词的所有格用their.
楼主可以找本语法书来巩固下基本概念！
