what fraction of this year's graducating students at a certain college are males?

(1) of this year's graduating students, 23% of males and 20% of females transferred from another college
(2) of this year's graduating students, 25% transferred from another college

答案是C。。。怎么求出来的？？？

23%X 20%Y

23%X+20%Y=25%(X+Y)

there you can get the ratio of X to Y. Hope it helps.

it is a little weird to get negative answers. but it is the right way to approach the problem. you can double check the numbers. when it is real not mocking test, you just need to figure out the right ways, and no need to calculate it. thanks.
