首先, 不知道是否因為是年代久遠, 所以題目與原題有出入. 第二句：“ based on the novels published in Z in 1992" , 而不是books.
原題：
Five thousand of the 50,000 books published in country Z in 1991 were novels. Exactly 25 of the films released in country Z in 1992 were based on those novels. Since 100 films were released in country Z in 1992, no more than one-quarter of them were based on books published in country Z in 1991.
5000/50000 = novels of z in 1991
Conclusion : 25/100 of firms in 1992 based on those novels of 1991.
Equal to or less than 0.25 of 100 firms were based on books published in country Z in 1991.
Well... It is really straight forward.
25/100 = 1/4 equal to a quarter, so, it must be true that a quarter of those 100 films must be based on the novel of 1991.
In that case, if this is true, what should also must be true ? There must not be any films based on the books other than novels of 1991.
