34.         A company's two divisions performed with remarkable consistency over the past three years: in each of those years, the pharmaceuticals division has accounted for roughly 20 percent of dollar sales and 40 percent of profits, and the chemicals division for the balance.

各位大大,我题目中有看不懂的意思,OG后面的解释也不太懂.烦请解释一下吧,就是红色的部分.the pharmaceuticals division has accounted for roughly 20 percent of dollar sales and 40 percent of profits, and the chemicals division for the balance.

这道很简单啊….就是说P有20% sales+40% profits

相对的C是80%sales+60%profits

请楼主想想c它投入了80%只赚60%profits

而p不过投入20%就有40%的profitsà当然p有赚啊…^^

这个...表拍我....我觉得the chemicals division for the balance中for the balance不是获得平衡的意思么,怎么得出"c投入了80%只赚60%profits"的结论呢投入了80%只赚60%profits"的结论呢

我就是想不通啊~~~~~~~我真是笨死了

这是是说P投入20％，赚了40％，那么总共是100％，C就balance了剩下的80％和60％，否则公司的帐不就不balance了吗。想通了吗？
