2 weeks late 是指在线提交还是寄过去？如果是ON-LINE的话可以晚一点么？我的推荐人最近忙疯了，一直在出差，我都催得不好意思了。

the reference can be delayed,but not too much. and you also need to email school to get their confirmation that you are in the current round review. I did that last year when I applied Yale. My boss submitted 3 hours later than the deadline.
