标题: intercept非直线专有。
还想再讨论一下12月JJ上这题：

212. ds y=f(x), 和 y=g(x), 在y上的intercept 是1，和2，问f(103)-g(103)

(1) f(x)<g(x) for all numbers

(2) f(X)不等于g(X) for all numbers

intercept是特指直线的截距

我不同意这里对“intercept”的解释。查webster，对y-intercept的解释是: the
y-coordinate of a point where a line, curve, or surface intersects the
y-axis.而且OG（11th Edition）上139页倒数第三行在介绍二次方程(quadratic)时说："...Also, the
y-intercept is f(0)=-1 because this is the value of y corresponding to
x=0....". 所以不能认为题目里的f(x) and g(x)是直线。

考虑这样的情况：f(x) = 1; g(x) = x^2+2 (or x^4+2); 满足(1),(2),但还是不能确定f(103)-g(103). 所以我认为答案应该是E。

好象有一位考友后来回忆说,题目里提到了line.到时再仔细看一下题目吧.
