答案为A，请问E为何不对，是因为that从句放在land后有歧义吗？
communal ownership of land 中心词为ownership，用that从句修饰不可以吗？

E中的that后从句修饰有歧义，可以认为是修饰ownership，也可以是land

但是A中to what had been a pre-Columbian form of ownership respected by the Spaniards作为一种补充说明，明显对应a return to communal ownership of land，清楚无歧义

同位一看就选了B，A这样的同位确实少见。B有陷阱。

肯定不选BC，意思都错了，不是两者并列，是这个form respected by S

to what 是a return to what的省略形式，这种结构仅仅限于名词+介词的情况，相同的名词可以省略。本质上是一种名词同位结构

至于E中的跳跃修饰情况我也不是很明白
