不明白为什么选E。E的内容在文章中根本就没有提到过呀。

otariids.
Their lactation periods were generally as long as those

of blubber before arriving at breeding sites.
They depleted less than a third of their stored body

大家能否确认一下，这题选 A 还是 E（没有啊，前6天后去去找食儿了）?

文中提到以前认为 P mother 哺乳前吃顶了之后啥也不吃了，但是现在zoologist 发现不是这样的，这些妈妈生孩子6天后也会去找点外块，7次在之后的24天的哺乳期里。也就是说 FAST 6天.

Mother otariid fast for for 5 to 11 days after
birth.

能选 A 吗？

旧观点：(Zoologists had assumed that females of all phocids species,
by contrast, use a fasting strategy in which mother phocids…… )动物学家认为所有的P型海豹在泌乳期内是禁食的。

fasting strategy意为“禁食策略”，E的意思P只在禁食期结束后才补充能量储备，原文换种说法而已。

原文说，O型海豹禁食5-11天，P型海豹禁食4-50天，A的意思是P的禁食时间短于O，正好和原文意思相反。

呵呵我不是那个意思。。。

不过文中说了 until recently, 研究表明lactation period 还没完就去找吃的了，生孩子 fast了6天后，之后24天里去了 7次，你能说The replenished their fat stores only after their
lactation period ended？
