请问：为什么 than under it 就可以了。不用加主语，或者谓语。

請參考其他大俠總結的比較的省略。

本題可還原為：

(more)babies were born to women over the age of 30

(than)babies were born to women under the age of 30

要比的是"babies were born to women",the age of 30用it取代掉,所以主詞加動詞都可一起省略

不會造成歧異.

比較下面的個例子：

I love more cats than you(比起愛你,我比較愛貓)??

I love more cats than you do(我比你更愛貓)
