我只提供一种看法，作为参考。 我认为，while作为连词引导句子，当然你可以认为省略的she was，但是，这无法改变一个事实，那就是：这还是一个句子（连词+介词结构），而as结构则是一个介词短语，比句子要简洁，所以E更好。而且，我认为，while的省略结构其实不够严谨，会引起歧义，比如while her brother was in adolescence可以作为一种解释，那么就改变了句义，所以，这种表达应该不是标准书面语表达，而仅仅是一种口语表达。 再次申明，我只是提供一种参考，尤其是关于书面语和口语表达的那种看法，因为我不能完全肯定。作者: Snazzy 时间: 2003-12-15 13:22

我好象记得状语从句的省略是要主从句的主语和谓语都一样的情况下，才可以省，不然，就不行，这里谓语显然不一样，不知道是不是这个原因。
