今天做了一套Prep, 错了两道语法题，贴上来大家一起讨论。

答案是D, 我想问的是B到底为什么错？就是因为because it is中的it 无指代吗？不能指代后面的 a plant吗？

这题答案是A, 我选了B. 因为觉得要和后面的 the clearing 对称。 remove的名词形式到底应该是removal 还是removing动名词也可用？另外，C又错在哪里呢？谢谢！

第一道题我也有同样的疑问，

第二道题：考得是对称，但是如果做removing,就是分词了,要和后边的the cleaning相对前边的removing必须是名词，所以选择A。这是我的理解，请NN们指教

1.副詞子句不能作為獨立的句子，because+S+V+C/O是錯誤的用法，副詞子句只能依附主要句，如：

because he is sick today,he can not go to work.

2.有名詞的情況下，名詞優於動名詞，所以選A，除非不得已應避免用動名詞，因為有暗示動作正在

進行的意思。
