但我觉得如果是c，由于amount是修饰不可数的，则one-quarter也是不可数了，怎么能用fewer呢？

我想选B，但as many在这里到底是个什么用法呢？似乎也没见过

不过amount也有number的意思。也可以理解，在这个意思下，也可以修饰可数名词。

单独修饰分数，用less不用fewer，修饰分数+of+n，由所修饰的n决定用less还是fewer

修饰可数名词用many，修饰不可数名词用amount。drive-ins是可数名词，所以用amount的全错，排除CDE，剩下AB。

as many结构错误，应该as many as，这是次要，关键在于as放在one-quarter和many之间，不能形成什么的几分之几这种结构。那么fewer应该就近修饰one-quarter，而修饰分数应该用less。

其实答案A之所以对，只要理解less than one-quarter这个结构是一个意群即可，或者理解成1/5，1/6之类的，也是一个分数，less than修饰one-quarter。1/5 that many完全可以理解成分数+of+n这个结构，由可数n决定用fewer不用less

我觉得答案是 A
