这道题应该选B。 B后面其实应该这么理解的 How likely it will be (to collide the earth). how likely it will be 这种用法是正确的

A错在哪里,难道GMAT有规定for doing就是错了?
likelihood不是明显简洁过那个从句么,同时也没有歧意么?

for doing这种用法感觉很别扭，而且好像GMAT里这种用法全都认为是错的。 how likely it will be 是挺常见的一种说法。

OG里好象没有明确的规定过吧,关键这里有明确的名词likelihood应该优先于how likely吧

来个NN解释下吧

我的意見：

astronomers have developed a scale for rating....是a scale for rating還是for rating...,astronomer have developed a scale並不清楚，我認為用for會有兩種解釋的情況產生,

這可能是GMAC不喜歡用for的原因，如果用to,則清楚表示一個目的，表示astronomer發明xxx以便去作xxx.

另外，N+that的用法應該不如直接講清楚來的好，雖然N+that常常是正確選項，但是這是在跟which

的選項比較之下而得，所以我認為應該選B
