这题b为什么不对,有人说是分号后不加句子,可是我查了资料,可以加句子

给的答案是c,我觉得theydo的强调语气在原文中是没有的,突然加上感觉不对

还有人选e,个人认为but后面不能接动名词,要接完整的句子

but后面不跟分词，那么nevertheless为什么可以呢？

啊!糊涂了,当时做题的时候想到when可以接动名词,省略主语,以为nevertheless 也可以这样用

后来查了字典发现when有介词的用法,是不是因为when可以做介词,所以就可以直接加v+ing呢?

They在B中可以指代Dolphins, vocal cords or sounds. 可是Dolphins, vocal cords and sounds都不可能produce a complicated system.
D錯, 因為"whistles, squeaks, moans, trills, and clicks"是produced by "sphincter muscles".
E絶對錯, 因為but之後是跟clause or 跟verb(+object).

C中的"producing a complicated system..."不可能是create sounds的隨伴結果.

So, 好像只有A...可是我不太肯定nevertheless後面可以跟participle(verb-ing/-ed).

arrhh, A也不對, 因為the verb(are) doesn't agree with the subject (a system).

nevertheless - 3 dictionary results

–adverb
nonetheless; notwithstanding; however; in spite of that: a small but nevertheless important change.

所以but和nevertheless用在一起问题不大,后面加上伴随,觉得应该选e
