标题: 申请JD，GPA有多重要

法学本科毕业5年，准备考LSAT，想问问各位考友，大学期间GPA在申请时有多重要，因为各学校评分标准不同，我们学院尤其变态，基本不给90以上的分数

For JD application, GPA is the second most important factor. For less than excellent GPA, something you might want to know

1. The more you have worked after graduating from college, the less important GPA is because school will look at what you have done after college.

2. Raw score could be disadvantage for lots of international students because getting the same GPA is much harder than in US colleges. But you might want to send the rank of your GPA to the school admission office directly and most of them will consider it.

3.Schools like to see an increasing GPA during your college rather than a declining one. If you have some explanations for your GPA that will help schools understand, you might want to add it as well.

我只有2.9,没办法，只有拼命提高LSAT,多多增加经历。

5年左右优秀的工作经历对弥补GPA的缺憾很有好处，同时，排名证明也是一个好办法

gpa是最重要的因素。对于高gpa低lsat和低gpa高lsat的学生，美国法学院会优先录取前者。当然，结果还是要看你具体的gpa/lsat组合。

As far as I know, Law schools require more higher GPA than Business schools. My friend just got into HLS as a senior in a Liberal & Arts college this year. He said that GPA is the most important factor in the admission process. Just take a look at the common data of admission offices. The 25%-75% average GPAs are all above 3.5. For top three (YHS), GPA lower than 3.8 will not be considered competitive.

很多学校可能都没有排名证明，比如复旦。

如果GPA低于3。5的话，LSAT一定要上170才有希望top30德学校，

JD的申请就是数据的比拼，一般的经历，一般的推荐信都没有什么意义
