末尾的It is only ...... that .....后面有什么要求吗？要倒装吗？选了E好像没有说过，请教

应该是A。 A选项倒装。应为：

A. a reasonably clear picture（of the patterns and causes of ocean currents）has emerged

B 的their指代不清。不知道是指代patterns还是currents。

C their patterns and the causes of them 不合语法

DE there不能紧跟在that后。

A. a reasonably clear picture（of the patterns and causes of ocean currents）has emerged

另外，B中最致命的错误是have

我也赞同你的观点~不过为什么不可以是PICTURE和CAUSES分开看呢~如此一来后面就应该跟HAVE~我觉得B的问题在于THEIR指代不清。。

我也觉得不是 a reasonably clear picture has emerged of (the patterns and causes of ocean currents) 而a picture of patterns 和causes of ocean currents是分开的两项事物。理由一:picture应该只能呈现直观的patterns，causes of currents 应该是是引起currents的原因而不是源头之类的可以在图上显现出来的东西。理由二:尽管A的意思向来都作为original meaning，但是当它并不清晰的时候看一下别的选项也许会比较有头绪它到底想表达什么，而BCDE，不管语法对不对都表达的是a picture of patterns 和causes of occean current两个独立的事物.所以我倾向于觉得反而是A里面的has用错了。
B，大家都说是their指代不清(可以是patterns也可以是currents)，但我觉得并不是硬伤，而且它确实就指代的是最近的currents.

综上所述，我倾向B

杨鹏长难句中有这样的倒装：
That sex ratio will be favored which maximizes the number of descendants an individual will have and hence the number of gene copies transmitted.

which 从句是修饰that sex ratio的，放在了will be favored 的后面

B their是有问题，但是恕我直言：A中的倒装不好，甚至不是GMAT的语法点。GMAT中有考过这样的语法点么？就说OG中，我映像中的OG只有in那个前后对比的考了倒装，好恶心。

补充。。。只有阅读难句中用这样的倒装。我觉得严格考语法没有这么用的。前面举的杨鹏难句那句中甚至是GRE的阅读。GMAT阅读中也蛮少出现这样用的。
