Wharton China Winter Reception 2004

Organizers：Admission Office of the Wharton School and Wharton Greater China Club

Objective：Help prospective students in China get familiar with the Wharton School by participating panel Q&A sessions and meeting Wharton Alumni and current students.

Date：Shanghai: January 2, 2004 (Friday 6:30PM); Beijing: December 27, 2003 (Saturday 2:30PM)

Duration：2.5 hours

Venue：Shanghai: (TBD) Beijing: (TBD)

Panelists：3-4 current students and 3-4 alumni

Reception Agenda：
§

resentation about Wharton School – 15 Min.
§

resentation on GCC community @ Wharton (student life, events) – 15 Min.
§ Self-introduction of panelists – 20 Min
§ Q&A session – 40 Min

Reception/Individual Q&A – 60 Min
Alumni and current students to have dinner with 3 prospective students (selected through lottery)

Don't worry. You know the deadline is Dec.25, so they are still waiting for some more people to sign up,and then send email to inform the location of the party. If you still feel worried about it, you can send me a message and leave your contact info. I will let you know the venue when the final decision come out.

since you did not know this and missed it, you should not blame Wharton for it.

in my opinion, wharton holds information session for 2nd time in china maybe because:
firstly, there are still two rounds of application to come;
secondly, it has said that the applicant number of first round reduced significantly. maybe the 2nd information session is just a market strategy.
