Two Prep questions I have no clues. please advise.

question 1: for every positive even integer n, the function h(n) is defined to be the product of all the even integers from 2 to n, inclusive. if p is the smallest prime factor of h(100)+1, then p is

The answer is E. greater than 40

question 2: if x,y, and z are integers and xy+z is an odd integer, is x an even integer? condition (1) xy+xz is an even integer (2)y+xz is an odd integer.

the answer is A. statement 91) alone is sufficient, but statement (2) is insufficient.
