刚刚交了，才得知NYU第二轮面试只是在校园的...天那...

是否有牛人能帮忙证实一下是否是真的？有没有成功的例子劝说学校用电话或者别的邻国解决面试问题？...或者现在就开始bargain让他们把我算第一轮？

怎么办啊...555555

I remember that a girl (financial background) I know, finally gave up NYU just because she doesn't want to travel to US for interview. so depressed now...

Off-Site Interviews
If you are invited to interview but are not able to come to Stern, you may consider one of our off-site interview locations. For priority consideration for off-site interviews, apply by November 15. Typically, we conduct off-site interviews in China, India and the United Kingdom in March.

Candidates participating in off-site interviews are not at a disadvantage to those interviewing at Stern. However, if timing is an important consideration, you may be able to interview sooner in New York City.

Alumni/Phone Interview Requests
Alumni or phone interview requests are almost never granted and should only be requested under extreme circumstances. We expect you to interview in person in New York City with the Admissions Committee or at one of our designated off-site interview locations.

说实话，我觉得去美国on-campus面试没什么不好。你可以好好安排下，把其他学校的面试安排到一起。我相信on-campus可以提高你录取的几率。

现在b1的签证也很好拿滴

至今很少见到第二轮被NYU录取的同学，他们好像很注重面试，都是adcom直接面的

Went to visit Stern yesterday. Totally had fun! People are nice and friendly and very helpful. Met both with current Chinese students (Thank you for your time Sunny!!) and current American students who showed us around the campus (well, just one building). Sat in a marketing class and at the info session. About the interview, they said "some" people from 2nd round will be invited for off-campus interview, but no guarantee on the percentage. Meaning: you still have a chance! Hope it helps.

I don't know whether it is advisable... should I request the school to put me in R1 (deadlinez: Nov.15)? though I am 10 days late than R1. I've heard there are people granted with early round even though they are 14 days late than R2 deadline...

...anyway... thank you
