答案A。想问D怎么错了？those用来指代the civilizations in the Nile delta and the river valleys of the Tigris and Euphrates.不可以么？

还有，as不是应该后面借从句么？怎么A中后面就接了短语。。。

看到脑子不转了。。。

those找不到指代啊～當然不可以用those囉！另外句子中找不到一定要用過去完成式的時間

所以只能選A

those指代civilizations

比较对象要一致

D在语法上没什么错误，-ing结构可以和-ed平行，但是只发生一次的动作用-ed，flourishe只能发生一次，不能重复。

those要指代必须要在原句子里找到那个词么？？像这里只要稍微一理解就知道是civilizations了，这样也不能指代？不好意思，偶语法很菜。。。。

关于those的用法，我的理解是，如果前文是civilizations,那么在后文里用those来指代该词没问题。可是，在本题中前文是单数，后面用those就找不到指代了。
