个人意见，首先从句意理解，分析应该是主动的，排除A，D
另外，continue这个词没有进行时态，排除B
C，E比较 due to the fact = because
所以选C
另外，补充一点and出现肯定考平行对称结构，and 前面是句子，后面也应该是句子也可以排除ABDE，直接选C

正确答案是A：

B：target后面缺will。 Predict不能直接和be。。。搭配，否则doesn't make sense。

C：continue 后面需要加to be。continue不是linking verb，后面不能直接加形容词。

D:和b问题一样。target后面不能直接加be。因为前面用的是predict这个词。

E：due to the fact 这个显而易见了吧。减少使用这样的废话。

这是NYT上面的一段类似的话。。。

但是问题是A选项用的是will,因该用would...

其他就更不靠普了
