答案B or E ? 有争论

我想问问为什么A不对呢？nearly 99 percent of them vanishing 不可以做独立主格吗？没有觉得那里不对啊，只有前面 have appeared 有点不爽而已。

请 NN 指教，独立主格总是不会分辨，头疼中……

A中vanishing 现在分词表示动作进行，但是句意应该是指一个从过去就开始的动作，所以时态不正确，而且在句中出现多个复数名词的时候，them 指代会引起混淆。另外，该句应该用have appeared来修饰 living creatures, 表示1%的物种还存在，而不能用appeared，意为过去出现过的物种。

B 也是错在了时态上。

E 中nearly 99 percent 修饰 of the ...species准确没有异议，时态也很正确。

建议楼主仔细看 PREP 语法破解，你会发现很多时候，独立主格或是with 引导的独立主格并不是GMAC prefer 德选项。

B的时态没问题。错在于five hundred...之前缺少定冠词the。
