Radio stations with radio data system(RDS) technology broadcast special program information that only radidos with an RDS feature can receive. Between 1994 and 1996, the number of RDS radio stations in Verdland increased from 250 to 600. However, since the number of RDS-equipped radions in Verdland was about the same in 1996 as in 1994, the number of Verdlanders receiving the special program informtion probably didn't increase significantly.

Which of the following is an assumption?

A:Few if any of the RDS radio stations that began broadcsting in Verdland after 1994 broadcast to people with RDS-equipped radios living in areas not previously reached by RDS stations.

B in 1996 most Verdlanders who lived within the listening area of an RDS station already had radio equipped to receive RDS.

Answer is A. WHY?WHY?WHY?

因为题干开始说到the number of RDS radio stations increased from 250 to 600，又说到number of RDS-equipped radios was about the same。所以假设的条件一定要把这两点之间（radio stations和RDS-equipped radios）架一个桥。Ｂ没有做到，所以不对。

A说几乎没有在1994年之后开始播放的RDS电台会对之前没能收到RDS节目、但持有RDS收音机的地区播放。也就是说1994年之前，verdland有一些地区的人虽然有了RDS收音机，但是可能收不到RDS节目。而这恰恰是题目中未提及的而可能造成其结论不成立的关键。因为题目的结论说1994-1996期间verdland国家的RDS收音机几乎没有增多，所以能收到特别RDS节目没有增加。然后存在一种可能性的是，尽管收音机没有增加，但是能收到RDS节目的增加了，因为以前收不到RDS的节目得地区现在有可能收到了。A选项打消了这种可能性。
