也就是说每个人都有自己的特点，所以jones有独特之处也就不稀奇了
这样就是一个削弱啊

有点明白了，还有一个小问题，on the basis of something that applies to all。是什么意思，我不是问怎么翻译，而是，这里到底指什么？

something that applies to all 我觉得这里指的是这几个候选人都适用优秀的这一特征。没理由挑出jones一个人来说她最unique

我看题觉得 something applies to all，应该是指和JONES想同的方面。C就是说，想从大家都相同的方面找出jones的不同。而由于原题就说了，candidates是不同的经验和工作，所以是没有相同之处的。

因此他们是不可比的。提干中说“如果其他人和她是可比的，那么他们没有她质量好”。

继续请高人指点。我也看的迷糊
