OG 20An array of tax incentives has led to a boom in the construction of new office buildings; so abundant has capital been for commercial real estate that investors regularly scour the country for areas in which to build.

(A) so abundant has capital been for commercial real estate that

(B) capital has been so abundant for commercial real estate, so that

(C) the abundance of capital for commercial real estate has been such,

(D) such has the abundance of capital been for commercial real estate thatA

(E) such has been an abundance of capital for commercial real estate,

Choice A is best. The construction so abundant has capital been... that correctly and clearly expresses the relationship between the abundance and the investors’ response. In choice B, the repetition of so is illogical and unidiomatic. Choices C, D, and E alter somewhat the intended meaning of the sentence; because of its position in these statements, such functions to mean “of a kind” rather than to intensify abundant.
Choice D awkwardly separates has and been, og在这里的解释为不应该把 has 和been分开,但是答案a, 本身就把has & been 分开了呀,偶记得so开头应该是全倒装的,为什么答案a 只是部分倒装?, and the omission of that from C and E makes those choices ungrammatical

看到以前有牛牛说:scour the country for aresa in which to build=scour the country to build xx in area.

A正确

PS:so that结构搭配部分倒装。

so good a boy/so good has a boy been

such a good boy/such a good boy

所以也不存在倒装的问题如果用such来表达,那么应该是such abundance has been...
