回去再看一下OG179的解释, 才发现你的问题是因为没有注意到解释中的 furthermore, the comma required before and in larger compound sentences is omitted中的"and"是斜体, 意思是指B答案中的第二个and前面应该加逗号, 因为第二个and后面又是一个完整的句子, 不可以不用逗号与前面的分割开. OK?

可是and不是可以连接句子的吗？为什么还要加逗号？

正是因为连接句子，所以才加逗号啊。两个简单句用连词连接构成复合句（compound sentence－a sentence that has two or more main parts）
如果连接谓语、宾语之类的简单句中的某个成分则不用逗号了。

哦！！我好像一直都犯了一个错误，以为只要有and 连接，句子与句子之间就不用逗号了。天，这么多年都没发现呢。真是谢谢两位啦！！这么说来，如果我说，I am a girl, and he is a boy.要这样表达才对，是吗？？

虽然their前的确出现了两个复数名词，但是由于During结构引导的是从句成分，而native Americans引导的是主句成分，with后的结构是主句的一个部分，所以，从语法上their优先指代主句主语。

我认为：
这个是og的语法规则，即：s+v....,and s+v....
s+v ...and v ....
同理请看og135（错误分析与这个题如出一辙）。其他好像还有我记不得了
9楼的那道题也证明了这一点。be 错在豆号，cd错在it.

前面有逗号的分词可以修饰前面的名词, 也可以修饰前面句子

因为这题逗号前后并不是并列成分,逗号后面bringing指的是逗号前面整句话Five fledgling sea eagles left their nests in western Scotland this summer带来的结果所以从逻辑意思的角度根本不能用and连接,而应该用现在分词表伴随结果.
