白痴地问一下主语是discovery，not only broaden,but also show, 这里show不是应该用shows吗？

personal opinion..

"not only... but also" should always be parallel, therefore, u see "broaden" is infinitive without to, the word after "but also" also need to be infinitive without to.. its my way of choosing answer, just for emergency use ~~

谢谢，不过我是对这个单复数没有想明白，是不是我漏看了什么，简化后的句子是不是应该是the discovery not only broaden....but also show.....?

如果选的话肯定是a没错，但是不明白为什么这里不用单数the discovery not only broadens.....but also shows......?
